SRS Warning Lamp continuously ON in Instrument Cluster.
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
DTC B101600 qualified in Airbag ECU
Lamp Status (If Any)
SRS Warning Lamp continuously ON in Instrument Cluster.
Fault Detection Condition
DTC B101600 qualified in Airbag ECU.
Normal Operating Condition
SRS lamp status should be healthy
Probable Trouble Area
SRS lamp failure in IPC node.
Healing Condition
Check for SRS Lamp healthiness in IPC ECU
Component Details:-
Airbag ECU
:- It is fitted in the floor of central console in the car. The Airbag Electronic Control Unit (ECU) controls the
deployment system to allow an appropriate igniting of the Airbags and belt pre-tensioners to restrain the driver and
passengers.
Instrument Cluster
:- The instrument cluster contains the various gauges and indicators that drivers depend on to
learn important information on the current status of the automobile.
Preliminary Checks:-
1. Check Battery Voltage to Airbag ECU & Instrument Cluster (8 V & above) 2.
Check for any faults for Airbag Warning Lamp indication in Instrument Cluster.
3. Check for relevant faults in Instrument cluster.
