B1F47-13:- Air Temperature Feedback Power Supply- Circuit Open;
:
ISO Code
B1F47 - 13
Customer Symptom
System is less responsive to user control and environmental
conditions
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Motor feedback voltage will be affected and motor will not
move to desired set point
Lamp Status (If Any)
NA
Fault Detection Condition
Temperature Door Control Motor Potentiometer Supply Line -
open
Normal Operating Condition
With the Temperature door Potentiometer supply line
connected to the harness and with Ignition ON, check the
voltage between pin no 2 of blue connector & ground of
Green connector. The voltage should be constantly 5V
Probable Trouble Area
Sensor supply wiring is short circuited to battery
Healing Condition
NA
Component Details:
The actuator controls the position of the temperature blend door based on the voltage signal from the FATC module.
Potentiometer, inside the actuator, sends a feedback signal to the controller and controller cuts off the voltage signal
coming from the controller when the required door position is achieved.
Preliminary Checks:
Switch On the IGN & perform the following check.
1) Connect the Diagnostics tool & check the DTC fault code
2) Read ECU parameter
Target Position of Temperature Door Flap
and
Temperature Door flap Position (Internal
Value)
for actual and target position of Actuator
