Trouble Shooting:-

Start

1. Keep vehicle in static condition.

2. Turn ignition ON -> off ignition.

3. Close all doors and vehicle in unlock

state.

4. Keep Paired UID outside the vehicle

near Co-Driver door within 1.5 mts.

5. Press Co-Driver Door handle switch.

Is Vehicle get

locked?

Yes

No

Is Co-Driver door handle

switch operating

normally?

Yes

Remove Connector-1 in

PEPS and check pin-14 &

pin-4 for bending/shorting

Is Co-Driver

DHS pin

is bend?

No

No

Check continuity between Pin-14 and

Pin-4 of Connector-1 of PEPS ECU.

Switch should not be permanently

short or open.

Fix the pin bending.

Take out the Co-Driver DHS switch

from door handle out of door handle

and check switch function.

Is Co-Driver DHS out of

handle is operating

normally?

Fit properly Co-Driver door handle

switch in handle such that it should

be operable normally.

Yes

No

Replace Co-Driver door

handle switch

Open the picktail connector of

Co-Driver door handle on co-driver

door.

Stop

Check for the wire cut/open & short circuit to

battery on the harness for co-driver door

handle switch signal.

Is DHS Short

Or

Open?

Replace Co-Driver door

handle switch

Fix the cut/open on the harness

for co-driver door handle switch

signals.

Check normal operation of Door

handle switch, i.e no fault of switch

permanent short or open.

Connect the battery

Negative terminal.

Remove vehicle

battery Negative

No

Yes

Yes

Clear

Connect the battery

Negative terminal.
