Fault Detection Condition
RL WSS is not functional.
Normal Operating Condition
ABS is functional in between 10 to 16V
Probable Trouble Area
Short circuit of the WSS_RL signal line to UBAT
Defective Wheel speed sensor
Healing Condition
Fault identification and rectification/ WSS replacement
Component Details:
Wheel Speed Sensor
: A wheel speed sensor is part of the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS). It is located on the
tires. The job of the wheel speed sensor is to constantly monitor and report the rotational speed of each tire to
the ABS control module.
Preliminary Checks:
Check short circuit of the WSS_RL signal line (Pin no.18) to UBAT.
