B223B - 23: Rear washer switch - Signal Stuck Low
START
Connect Diagnostic tool and check for DTCs
Is DTC B223B - 23
present?
STOP
NO
Check DTC present is Permanent or Historic
Is Historic?
1. Activate Rear wash switch input and
deactivate it.
2. Clear the DTC from memory
Is DTC B223B -
23 present?
YES
NO
Check DTC present is Permanent or Historic
YES
NO
Disconnect vehicle battery connection.
(Please follow the safety guidelines)
Check BCM / Rear Washer switch connectors for
terminal backout
Are connectors loose?
Reconnect connectors firmly
YES
1.Remove BCM side wiring harness Connector.
2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins bent or damaged etc.
