Customer Symptom
Left Turn Indicator Lamps always ON.
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
1. Left Lamp always ON.
2. Battery Drain.
Lamp Status (If Any)
Always ON
Fault Detection Condition
This fault gets logged by BCM when left Turn Indicator
lamp output is shorted to battery or open circuit
Normal Operating Condition
Turn Indicator lamp comes ON when turn indicator
switch is activated.
Probable Trouble Area
1. BCM connector Fault
2. Left Turn Indicator lamp output wire Short to
battery or open circuit
3. Left Turn Indicator Lamp bulb blown /lamp
damaged
4. BCM ECU fault
5. Left Turn Indicator lamp mating connector fault
Healing Condition
1. Ignition OFF
ON
2. Clear DTC Command
Component Details:
Left Turn Indicator lamps are located at left front, left rear and left side of the vehicle. Turn Indicator
lamp comes ON when turn indicator switch is activated.
Preliminary Checks:
1. Check Battery Voltage (12.5 V & above)
2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
