start
Connect Diagnostic tool and Read
DTC. Switch ON front wash and read
DTC.
Is DTC
B223A-15
NO
YES
Stop
Remove Vehicle Battery connections.
(Please follow safety guidelines)
1) Remove BCM connector and check for backout/ pins
bend/ damages.
Yes
Check continuity between
1) BCM connector B pin 16 and Connector A pin 9 in the
harness connector.
2)BCM connector B pin 16 and Connector C pin 1/ 2 in the
harness connector
Yes
Correct the wiring
harness short and open
circuit.
Remove the Washer motor connector
and check for continuity from
connector B pin 7 to Wash motor conn
pin1.
Is continuity
observed
Yes
No
Correct the wiring
harness short/
open circuit.
Yes
Replac
e the
motor
Any fault
observed
Correct the fault
No
Any continuity
observed
No
Is motor faulty
No
B223A-15 Front washer short to Batt or Open
Remove the rear Washer motor and
check the motor is working by
providing external supply and GND
Replace the
ECU
