START

Connect Diagnostic tool and Run Input Test Routine and operate the

switches as mentioned in the input switch test routine specification.

Is DTC B223B - 12 logged

by Routine?

Disconnect vehicle battery connection.

(Please follow the safety guidelines)

Check BCM and combi switch connectors

for terminal backout

Are connectors loose?

1.Remove BCM Connector.

2.Perform visual check of connectors for pins bent or damaged etc.

Is connector faulty?

1.Put combi switch in OFF state.

2.Check continuity between BCM connector pin [C1-12] with battery

[C3-2/

C3-1]

Continuity Found?

1.Remove Combi Switch mating connector

2. Check continuity between BCM harness side connector pin [C1-12] and Rear Washer

contact at combi switch

[pin details TBD].

Open Circuit?

Perform the visual check of connectors for pin bend or damaged etc.

Is connector faulty?

Check continuity at combi switch Rear washer contact

[ pin details TBD]

with ground

[ pin details TBD]

Continuity found?

BCM ECU Faulty

Reconnect connectors firmly

1. Connect combi switch mating connector

2. Put combi switch at Rear washer switch contact

3. check continuty between combi switch Rear washer switch contact
