Customer Symptom
Interior Lamp (Roof lamp at ON position, boot lamp, spot
lamp) always OFF.
Fault Effects (On Vehicle)
Interior Lamp always OFF.
Lamp Status (If Any)
Interior Lamp always OFF.
Fault Detection Condition
This fault gets logged by BCM when Interior Lamp
Deactivation (Battery Saver Control) output is shorted to
ground.
Normal Operating Condition
Interior Lamp should turn ON whenever it will require.
Probable Trouble Area
1. BCM connector wired wrong,
2. Cockpit harness wire shorted to ground.
Healing Condition
1. Ignition OFF
ON
2. Clear DTC Command
Component Details:
User turns ON Interior lamp (Roof lamp at ON position, boot lamp, spot lamp).
Interior Lamp Deactivation Signal is active high.
Preliminary Checks:
1. Check Battery Voltage (9V-16V)
2. Check ECU pins for oxidation, bending & damage.
