7. Move the valve spring compressor rail to the
exhaust side of the cylinder head.
8. Repeat the procedure for exhaust port, noting
the locations and components for each valve
for proper reassembly.
9. Remove Valve Guide Seal.
10. Remove the Intake valve and exhaust Valve
from cylinder head.

Assemblies
1. Remove the mounting nuts holding the
connecting rod bearing caps.
2. Remove the connecting rod bearing caps
along with bearing shells.
NOTE
•
While removing each bearing shell, mark
on its back in case of reuse.
•
Connecting rods have to be assembled to
the respective bearing caps, matching with
serial numbers.
3. Turn crankshaft to bring piston to top dead
center.
4. Remove piston assembly from the cylinder
block using wooden handle of the mallet.
5. Follow the same procedure to remove the
remaining two pistons.
