ELECTRICAL
INTRODUCTION:
The electrical system of this vehicle is a combination of electrical and electronic devices.
These are connected to each other electrically through wiring harness and electronically
through high speed CAN (Controller Area Network).The CAN gives reduction in complexity
& weight of Wiring harness & number of sensors. Many new capabilities have been added
due to the ability of the controllers to communicate with each other.
The trouble shooting of this vehicle should begin by reading errors logged by various
ECUS’/controllers using a diagnostic tester and by confirmation that the controller no
longer logs the error. Every effort has been done in this manual to simplify the
troubleshooting of a vehicle of such complexity.
Details of wiring harness, their routing and electrical circuit schematics of different systems
are included in this Manual. These are only for guidance during troubleshooting. However,
due to continuous improvements on the product, the actual wiring layout, locations of
components and connectors, the wire colour codes etc. are likely to be different on the
vehicle, which would be informed to you from time to time
