1. TURNING NOISE REPAIR (1.5CRAIL)

PROCEDURE

NOTE

This procedure is to be done whenever following

aggregates are dismantle from vehicle.

1. ENGINE

2. TRANSMISSION

3. DRIVE SHAFT (BOTH)

4. INTERMIDDIATE SHAFT

Open the Bonnet & Measure distance ‘d’. If ‘d’ is

between (

23 - 25.3mm

) then there is no any

issue, If it is less than

23mm

then follow the steps

given in following procedure.

Check the distance ‘d’ as shown if noise is

heard while turning.

PROCEDURE

A. Disconnect the electrical connection of

battery, loosen the mounting of battery & take

out the battery.

B. Loosen & remove the battery tray for the

visibility of B-mount.

C. Take vehicle on two poster & loose the nut of

both RH and LH side stopper bracket (Sway

arrestor).

D. Support the transmission from bottom side

with jack.
