1.6. ON VEHICLE PROCEDURE

A. DRIVE SHAFT (LH / RH) REMOVAL

1. Lift the vehicle on using two post lift and

remove the front wheels.

2. Drain the Transaxle oil through Drain Plug.

3. Remove wheel nut & take out wheel.

4. Remove ball joint (steering rack) from steering

knuckle from RH & LH sides using tool part

no. 2702 5890 4602.(Refer Steering Section)

5. Remove stub axle ball joint Mtg. & Remove

Lower Control Arm (LCA) using tool part no.

2702 5890 4602.(Refer suspension section)

6. Swing out drive shafts from transaxle and

place it suitably alongside.

Do not pull drive shaft excessively as the

plunge joint will come out of housing and

damage the boot Pry. Plunge joint housing for

taking out joint out of splines. Do not place the

CV drive shaft on rough / uncleaned surfaces.

This might damage the drive shaft boot.

FITMENT

For fitment, follow reverse procedure of removal.
