1.15 FASCIA SWITCHES

PDC, fog lamps are located on fascia switches

A. TAILGATE SWITCH:

To open the tail gate, press the switch lo-cated on

fascia switch It can also be opened by using door

key. The lock is located on the tailgate.

For closing, pull the tail gate down and close

it with a slight swing.

B. DOOR LOCK-UNLOCK

The power door lock switch is a rocker switch that

allows you to lock and unlock your car doors with a

the simple touch of a button. Although older cars

used manual lock switches,.

C. REAR FOG LAMPS (IF FITTED):

Rear Fog Lamps are provided on rear bumper to

provide improve divisibility in adverse weather

conditions to avoid accidents when visibility is

poor.

The rear fog lamps can be switched ‘ON’ with

ignition and parking lamp ‘ON’ and can remain on

till the parking lamp is switched ‘OFF’.

D. FRONT FOG LAMPS (IF FITTED):

Front Fog Lamps are provided on front bumper to

provide improve divisibility in adverse weather

conditions to avoid accidents when visibility is

poor.

The front fog lamps can be switched ‘ON’ with

ignition and parking lamp ‘ON’ and can remain on

till the parking lamp is switched ‘OFF’.

E. PDC ( Park distance control )SWITCH

An acoustic warning signal lets you know how

close you are to the car or object behind you.

Ultrasound sensors integrated into the bumper at

the rear of your car measure the

distance

to the

nearest large object behind the vehicle. As you

reverse closer, the frequency of the warning tone

increases.

REMOVAL

1. Carefully pry out console controller panel

2. Disconnect all the electrical connection from

the fascia switch assembly.

3. Remove the mounting screws.

4. Take out the console controller panel
