Now slowly release and hold the hydraulic jack
pressure so that both the coil springs along
with top rubber can be pulled out.
CAUTION:
Do not lower the torsion beam below
certain level as the brake hoses will be damaged.

Remove Rear Shock Absorber top mounting
nyloc nut fastener inside luggage compartment
as shown in Fig.
9)
Remove Rear Shock Absorber.
DISASSEMBLY OF REAR SHOCK ABSORBER
1. Remove the rubber pad and metal washer as
shown.
2. Pull the plastic cover apart.
3. Pry out the bump stopper from the shock
absorber as shown.
4. Check for any oil leakage in the shock
absorber, if any replace the unit.
Check bump stop for cracks and replace if any.
Check top rubber for cracks.
Check dust cover for damage and replace it if
any.
ASSEMBLY OF REAR SHOCKABSORBER:
1. Refit the bump stop over the shock absorber.
2. Place the metal cover and washer over it.
3. Position the rubber pad over the assembled
Unit.
