2. Install cylinder head and tighten the mounting
bolts to 5 Kg-m and angular torque of 180˚ in
the specified sequence.
3. Install camshaft and bearing caps ensuring
that punched cylinder head number is
matched near “A” mount bracket, its location
number and identifying intake or exhaust
camshaft to avoid damage to cylinder head.
NOTE
For example: 3584 I 3 means cylinder head
number is 3584, I for inlet cam (E for exhaust
cam), 3 is cap location number.
4. Install bearing caps by tightening the
mounting bolts in proper sequence.
5. Install the camshaft bearing cap on the front
end.
