III. Removal of Oil Sump

1. Drain the engine oil in oil pan.(In cold

condition)

2. Remove the oil dip stick.

3. Rotate the engine at 180

0

for removal of oil

sump.

4. Loosen and remove the stiffner brackets

mounting bolts and remove the bracket.

5. Remove the bolts on the oil sump.

6. Remove the Oil Sump along with the sealant

by using sealant cutting wedge.
