15. FASCIA SWITCHES

Heated rear window, fog lamps and drive mode

switches are located on fascia switches

1) HEATED REAR WINDOW

2) FRONT FOG LAMP

3) ECO DRIVE MODE SWITCH

4).TAIL GATE FUNCTION

1. HEATED REAR WINDOW SWITCH:

The heated rear window is controlled by a fascia

switch. The heated rear window is only active in

Vehicle Power State IGNITION or RUN.

If Heated Rear Window is cancelled, the heated

rear window relay output is immediately switched

off and, where necessary, the heated rear window

timer is reset.

2. FRONT FOG LAMPS (IF FITTED):

Front Fog Lamps are provided on front bumper to

provide improve divisibility in adverse weather

conditions to avoid accidents when visibility is

poor.

The front fog lamps can be switched ‘ON’ with

ignition and parking lamp ‘ON’ and can remain on

till the parking lamp is switched ‘OFF’.

3. ECO DRIVE MODE SWITCH

Two drive modes are provided. These modes can

be used to adjust certain characteristics of engine

& vehicle performance.

Drive mode selection switches are provided on

dashboard fascia to

activate the programs.

Selected drive mode will be displayed on

Instrument cluster telltale.

4. TAILGATE SWITCH (IF FITTED):

To open the tail gate, press the switch lo-cated on

fascia switch It can also be opened by using door

key. The lock is located on the tailgate.

For closing, pull the tail gate down and close it

with a slight swing.

NOTE:

’CITY’ is the default mode and will not be

displayed.

Select the desired mode as per driving

feasibility.

Drive mode switches are provided on the

dashboard fascia to activate the desired Mode.

CITY is the default mode. If both switches pressed

simultaneously last mode is retained.

FASCIASWITCH PANEL REMOVAL

1. Carefully pry out fascia switch cover assembly.

2. Disconnect electrical connection from the

fascia switch assembly.
