V. Front Exhaust Pipe (Between CCC and
Pre-Silencer) :
Removal :
1. Remove the Stone guard. (
For procedure
refer
body section.
)
2.
Loosen and remove the Front Silencer pipe
mounting bolts from CCC outlet side
.
3. Loosen and remove bolts and remove the
front exhaust pipe with bellow.
4. Loosen and remove mounting bolts from the
pre-silencer side and remove the exhaust
pipe from rubber hanger and disconnect it
from pre silencer.
Fitment :
For fitment follow the reverse procedure of
removal.
NOTE
Use new gaskets every time while fitment
and tighten nuts and bolts to specified
torque.
W. Close Coupled Catalytic Converter :
Removal :
1. Remove the Air filter assembly for easy
access (For removal refer Air filter removal
process in Overhauling Section)
2. Loosen and remove heat shield mounting
screw and remove heat shield from close
coupled catalytic converter.
3. Loosen and remove the mounting screw of
close coupled catalytic converter on the
intermediate bracket.
4. Loosen and remove the lower mounting Front
Silencer Pipe mounting bolts from CCC outlet
side.
