pre-defined limit, some length of the belt is released

due to twisting of the torsion bar. The activation of

the load limiter does not depend on signal from the

SRS ECU.

ON VEHICLE REPAIR

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the battery connection.

2. Loosen and remove the lower mounting bolt of

seat belt.

3. Remove lower “B” pillar trim.

(For procedure refer

“B” pillar trim removal procedure in CAB section.)

4. Remove the garnish of “B” pillar by pulling it out

from the floor.

5. Loosen and remove the mounting screws and

take out the HVAC duct.

6. Disconnect the electrical connection of RPLL.

7. Loosen and remove the mounting bolt and take

out the RPLL assembly.

FITMENT

For fitment follow reverse procedure of removal.
