LOCATION

It is fitted on clutch pedal mounting bracket.

This feature is used to prevent failure of Starter

Motor under the following conditions.

A. Cranking when in Geared condition

(Inching)

B. Cranking while Engine is running Non-

Contact

C. Continuous Cranking.

The Non-Contact Clutch Sensor (Hall Type)

replaces Mechanical Switches. It is mounted on

the Control Mounting Bracket and Magnet Holder

is mounted on the Clutch Pedal Lever. When the

Clutch pedal is pressed the Magnet moves in front

of the Sensor and the sensor sends signal to EMS

ECU for control action.

The following functions are achieved.

Cranking only when the Clutch is disengaged.

Disengage Starter as soon as Engine Starts.

Prevent re-cranking when Engine is running.

Delayed cranking in case of Sensor failure. (Fail
