vi. Pre-Filter Cum Sedimentor Replacement :
1. Remove Front LH wheel assembly & inner
wheel arch cover (
For procedures refer body
section
).
2. Disconnect the sensor pigtail.
3. Keep a suitable container below the sensor to
collect the diesel that will drain.
4. Remove the sensor by unscrewing it in
anticlockwise direction.
5. Disconnect the inlet and outlet fuels lines as
indicated in the figure below.
6. Press the vertical snap fit lug and push up the
sedimentor assembly.
NOTE
Fuel filter bottle and bracket can be
separately replaced or the whole assembly
fuel filter with bracket can be replaced.
WARNING
The sedimentor may still contain diesel in it,
which may get accidentally spilled onto the
operator if it is not handled properly.
Fitment :
For fitment follow the reverse order of
removal.
Using hand priming pump refill the fuel lines.
