1.8 POSITION LAMPS

1.8.1 Description

The Position Lights are used to indicate the vehicle presence. These lamps are presents on the corner of the

car (front / rear and left / right).

1.8.2 Conditional Requirements

Activation –

• Position Lamp Switch or Head Lamp ON switch is activated or ‘Lamps ON’ request received from RLS

on LIN (in variants equipped with RLS)

Deactivation –

• Position Lamp Switch & Head Lamp ON switch is deactivated or ‘Lamps OFF’ request received from

RLS on LIN (in variants equipped with RLS)

Tell-tale Indication –

• Illuminates IC and dashboard switches

On Fault –

Dash board illumination is continuously ON and Respective DTC logged.
