STEERING

Removal Procedure of steering column has

been defined in four processes:

A. Steering Column Support Bracket

B. Top Column (Upper Column)

C. Intermediate Shaft (Bottom Column)

D. Bottom Flange Coupling (Bottom UJ)

A. STEERING COLUMN SUPPORT BRACKET

REMOVAL

1. Pry out the lower cover of steering column.

2. Remove hush panel from driver end by remov-

ing mounting screws.

3. Loosen and remove steering column support

mounting bolt

(1)

and nut

(2) (2 Nos.)

and take

out the steering column support

(3).

FITMENT

For fitment follow reverse procedure of removal.

B. TOP COLUMN (UPPER COLUMN)

REMOVAL

1. Remove Steering wheel.

tion)

2. Remove master light switch from the upper RH

cover.

(For procedure refer Electrical section.)

3. Take out the upper nacelle, lower nacelle, deco

finisher and lower cover of steering column.

procedure refer Body section.)

4. Remove the Combi Switch and ignition switch.

(For procedure refer Electrical section.)
