2. Check the air gap as follows:

a. Insert a depth gauge and measure the distance

between the toner ring top surface and rear axle

sensor mounting surface. Let it be ‘A’.

b. Measure the length of the sensor probe. Let it be

‘B’.

c. Air Gap = A – B

NOTE

Air gap should be between 0.6mm to 1.1mm.

3. Route the cable properly.

4. Connect the wiring harness connector to wheel

speed sensor cable.

5. Make sure that the sensor cable connector is fully

seated and locked into vehicle wiring harness

connector.

Insert the sensor into the sensor mounting hole

and tighten the bolt to the specified torque

(1.0

Kg-m).

7.

Clear all fault codes and road test the vehicle to

ensure proper operation of the brake system.

E. REAR TONER RING

1. Position the vehicle in a 2 poster lift and raise it.

2. Remove the rear axle wheel end axle shaft.

(For

procedure refer Rear Axle section).

3. Closely inspect the toner ring and remove the

dust, mud or iron particles in between the teeth.

4. Check for any damaged teeth. (Rear toner ring

got 54 teeth).

5. Replace toner ring if teeth are missing or

damaged.

Refer rear axle section and use

recommended tool to remove the toner ring.
