5. Remove the caliper assembly along with the

carrier from the brake disc.

NOTE

If only the caliper housing has to be removed.

Remove the caliper pads. (Refer caliper pad

replacement in regular maintenance)

Remove the upper sliding bolt and take out the

caliper housing. (Lower sliding bolt is already

taken out while removing the pads.)

FITMENT

For fitment follow the reverse procedure of

removal.

B. BRAKE DISC REMOVAL

FRONT BRAKE DISC REMOVAL

For front brake disc removal refer Front Axle

section.

REAR BRAKE DISC REMOVAL

1. Release the hand brake.

2. Check from rear back plate inspecting window

if the brake shoe has completely retracted if

not, retract the same using screw driver.

3. Position the vehicle on two post lift and remove

the wheel.

4. Remove caliper assembly.

refer caliper removal process in this section.)

5. Loosen brake disc screws

(2 Nos.)

securing

brake disc to the hub.

6. Pull off the brake disc.

NOTE

If the disc does not come out easily, insert two

screws in the holes provided on the disc. Tighten

both the screws simultaneously to pull out the

disc.
