9. PROCEDURE FOR

INSTALLATION

AND REMOVAL OF COMBI-SWITCH,

ADAPTOR PLATE & CLOCK SPRING.

Installation :

Mount adaptor plate separately on the Combi-

switch by snap fitting.

Mount the Combi-switch alongwith adaptor plate

on the steering column.

Ensure proper fitment of Combi-Switch on the

steering column.

Tighten the screw of Combi-switch.

Mount the clock spring on the Combi-switch by

proper engagement with striker bush of Combi-

switch. Fig. 12

Ensure three legs of clock spring are properly

aligned with three threaded bush of adaptor

plate.

Tighten three screws for proper fixing of clock

spring with adaptor plate. Fig. 13

Ensure that transport tape seal of clock spring is

intact.

Connect for DAB and horn connection to the clock

spring. Fig. 14

Fit the nacelle and ensure that nacelle is sitting

central around the clock spring. Fig. 15

Install the steering wheel and ensure that DAB

connector as well as horn contact wire are

properly passed through the bush located in

the base plate of steering wheel.
