Air Mass flow sensor (AMF):

Amount of air quantity entering the engine is given by

this sensor,This input is used by the ECU for corrections

of fuel quantity based on amount of air availability and

for optimised exhaust gas circulation.

Coolant Temperature Sensor:

A semiconductor material changes its resistance

when exposed to variable temperature source.

Resistance decreases as temperature increases. This

sensor provides engine operating temperature

input to ECU.This sensor is fitted on upper cooling

line.Corrections for injection parameters is done by the

ECU based on coolant temperature to run the engine

with maximum efficiency at all temperatures.

8 Fuel Temperature Sensor:

This sensor monitors the temperatuer of the fuel

entering the fuel injection pump. This sensor

information is used to modify rail pressure control

terms at extreme temperatures.

9 Inlet Metering Valve (IMV):

This controls fuel flow into HP chambers in order to

control rail pressure. This sensor is inbuilt with HP

Pump.
