Rail pressure sensor

Inlet Manifold Heater

10. Rail Pressure Sensor:

This sensor is fitted on the rail gives a closed loop

control of the rail pressure.Fuel is maintained at a high

pressure in the rail depending on requirement of the

engine.

11. Throttle Pedal sensor:

This sensor tells the ECU about the position of the

accelerator. This input is used to determine the torque

required to drive the vehicle which in turn determines

the required fuel quantity. This is a dual potentiometer

sensor.

12. Inlet Manifold Heater (for E III only):

It heats up the intake air inside the manifold for

better cold startability at –20 deg.

13. Water In fuel sensor:

It Measures water percentage in fuel and gives

indication on the instrument cluster (Refer

sedimenter section)

14. Barometric Sensor:

This sensor is inbuilt with ECU which gives altitude

input to the ECU.
