recommendations for drive shaft.

6. Take precaution to avoid any contact between the

inboard seal and the tool used for installation. This

may cause seal peak abrasion which can reduce

the seal performance and life.

7. Avoid over extending the joints while removal or

installation. This may cause dislocation of internal

parts.

(b) Holding the complete driveshaft vertically by tulip

is wrong practice.

(c) Driveshafts should not be handled with hands

holding the boots.

(d) Overbending the plunging joint is wrong practice.
