6. On proper fitment the groove will be just above
the fork in assembled condition.
7. Then fit the dowel (spiral) pin such that it does
not protrude out from both ends by holding the
fork and shaft assembly in a vice and using a
suitable drift.
8. Assemble the reverse gear shifter by inserting
the shifter dog followed by the shifter finger from
the end which has the slots.
9. Then fit the dowel (Spiral) pin such that it does
not protrude from both ends.
REVERSE GEAR SHIFTER BRACKET -
ASSEMBLY
1. Place the barrel with spring onto the reverse idler
shaft bracket.
2. Place the ball on the spring.
