Fit the alternator drive belt and adjust the belt
tension.After confirming proper belt tension, tighten
the mounting bolts with specified torque.
•
Fit the compressor belt using special tool (Part
No.2834 5890 06 13 ).
NOTE
Belt tension for alternator belt:
120 - 130 Hz on lower span for new belt.
100 - 110 Hz for retensioning the used belt.
Belt tension for compressor belt:
175 - 185 Hz on lower span for new belt.
145 - 155 Hz for retensioning the used belt.
