ENGINE 273 MPFI
CYLINDER HEAD OVERHAUL
DISMANTLINGCYLINDERHEADFROMCYLINDER
BLOCK
•
Mount the engine on overhaul stand.
NOTE:
•
Engine oil is drained.
•
Oil filter is removed
•
Engine wiring harness is removed.
•
Disconnect the high tension cables from spark plug
ends.
•
Remove spark plugs.
•
Remove the ignition coil from cylinder head.
•
Remove the dipstick tubemounting bolt on cylinder
head.
•
Remove water bypass tube.
•
Remove fuel rail along with injectors.
