ENGINE 273 MPFI
Refitment Procedure:
•
Tighten the mounting bolt of tensioner roller.
•
Slightly loosen the camshaft gear.
•
Tighten the timing belt by rotating the tensioner
clockwise using allen key.
•
Tighten the camshaft gear bolt with the specified
torque i.e. 4 Kgf-m.
•
Slightly tighten the tensioner mounting bolt at this
position.
•
Ensure the correct belt tension/fitment by twisting
the belt in 90 degrees as shown.
Refitment of Timing Belt
NOTE
Camshaft and flywheel positions are already locked.
•
Position the timing belt in the proper sequence
through cam shaft, tensioner and Timing gear as
shown.
