TAIL GATE STRIKER

NOTE:

Before removing mounting screws of the tailgate

striker, do the markings on striker so that while refit-

ting, the alignment of the tailgate will not change.

1. Remove two screws with the help of Allen key

and take the tailgate striker out.

Re-fitment of Striker:

1. Align tailgate striker with the marking and

tighten two screws with Allen key.

2. Do Not Fit Striker in Reverse Direction

GAS BALANCER ROD

1. Remove two c-clips provided on each side of

balance rod with the help of screw driver. Pull

out gas balancer rod from tailgate

NOTE:

Ensure tailgate is properly supported before bal-

ance rods are removed.

Before mounting balancer rod on tailgate, apply

some grease at the end of balancer rod. Insert bal-

ancer rod ends into ball points provided on tailgate.

Insert c-clip inside balance rod at each end to lock

the balancer rods in its place.
