BRAKE SYSTEM

REAR BRAKE SHOES

Removal

1. Remove wheel(s) (Refer wheel removal procedure/

Wheels and tires group)

2. Take off rear brake drum. (Refer rear brake drum

removal procedure)

3. Orient brake drummount flange (shown by arrow)

such that brake shoes can be easily taken off

without having any contact with other component

and also for more clearance with auto adjuster.

3. Push brake shoe pin with the help of special tool

(Part No.283458904201) and turn it (shoe pin) to

remove from shoe hold down spring.

4. Remove lower shoe return spring

5. Disengage the parking brake cable and remove

brake shoe assembly.
