OIL STRAINER
Removal Procedure:
•
Position the car on a two post lift.
•
Remove oil sump. (Refer procedure for oil sump
removal).
•
Unscrew the two hexagonal mounting bolts of
strainer on oil and water pump housing.
•
Take out the oil strainer
Inspection:
•
Check for any oil passage blockage or foreign
particles in strainer. Clean it properly.
•
If found damage or crack, replace it.
Refitment Procedure:
•
Tighten the two hexagonal mounting bolts of
strainer on oil and water pump housing at specified
torque.
•
Refit oil sump. (Refer procedure for oil sump
refitment.)
•
Fill the lubricating oil.
