SystemDiagnosis
•
Use TATAdiagnostic tool.
•
Check for coolant temp values.
On vehicle Removal, Inspection & Refitment
Procedure
Removal of Coolant Temp Sensor
•
Remove electrical connector of water temp
sensor.
•
Unscrew the coolant temp sensor fromengine block
with the help of open spanner.
Inspection of Coolant Temp Sensor
•
Check the resistance value of water temp sensor
with the help of multimeter.
Refitment of Coolant Temp Sensor
•
Tighten the coolant temp sensor on engine block
with the help of open spanner.
Precaution :
Ensure proper tightness of the coolant temp sensor.
Loose tightness of the same cause water leakage.
•
Connect electrical connector of coolant temp
sensor.
Precaution :
Ensure that the connector is properly connected

Protect parts from rain, snow, solar radiation and dust.
After 8 years, components should be rechecked for
functionality .Don’t drop the sensor.
