1.4 TIGHTENING TORQUES OF STANDARD BOLTS & NUTS

Whenever the tightening torques are not specified, use the following values for these fasteners.

Identify the grade of metric nuts and bolts by locating the marking on the nut or bolt head. Following fig. shows

the typical grade marking locations for hardware used on the vehicle.
