GENERAL
Using The Floor Jack (The Jack is located below
co-driver seat):
Use the jack at the locations as shown in the fig. below.
Do not apply jack against any part which may get
deformed. Jacking point locations are shown below.
Kindly follow them for safe jacking.
If front end or rear end of the vehicle is to be jacked,
ensure thewheels are on ground and the parking brake
is applied.
WARNING
Always engage the parking brake, place the vehicle
in gear, and check the wheels on the opposite side
of the vehicle when using a floor jack to raise the
vehicle. Severe injury, death, and/or vehicle damage
may occur if the vehicle rolls off the jack.
Observe the floor jack manufacturer’s rating,
safety precautions, and usage guidelines.
If the jack is designed to fit in the lower body pinch
joint (i.e. factory jack), the jacking locations are
directly behind the front wheels and directly in front
of the rear wheels.
For non pinch joint style jacks, locate the floor
jack lift head in the same locations as the lift hoist.
