Ensure no fouling with other components filling
fitment of shims.
2. Fit the upper wishbone ball joint to knuckle and
tighten it to the specified torque and insert the
split pin.
3. Apply the specified torque to the upper link
mounting bolt after ensuring that the distance
between upper surface of shock absorber tower
and upper link
(the point in the link where the
circular section starts)
at front and rear is as
follows.
Distance at front: 9mm
Distance at rear: 50mm
NOTE
Upper wishbone torque to be given in the above
specified condition.(Refer tightening torque
table)
Before assembly check condition of ball joint,
Check excessive play in the ball joint, if
excessive wear is found replace the same with
new one.
Ball Joint Axial Play
0.1 mm max.
Ball Joint Radial Play
0.2 mm max.
NOTE
Always
follow standard procedure for checking the
ball joint play
