SUSPENSION_MR 28 D. Manual Assembly of spring and DRP Put the Assembled spring for Curing. Time required for Curing 2 hours. Remove Tie Band after 2 hours. CHECK Visual Check for the contact and Gap on the assembly. ASSEMBLY Check the condition of the components before assembly and replace if found Damage. 1. Compress the spring with spring compression tool part No. 2702 5890 3202 to reduce length as done during disassembly. 2. Insert the compressed spring on the strut(ensure that the spring end is located at Lug in spring seat lower) 3. Pull strut piston rod up to full extended length. 4. Insert bump stopper. 5. Assemble dust cover on the spring.( ensure dust cover is properly located on spring) 6. Assemble bearing on the dust cover. 7. Assemble bearing dust cover on bearing. 8. Assemble top mount on bearing.( ensure top mount M8 bolt head should be placed in the bearing slots) 9. Fit Hex sp. Flange nut (1) and tighten to 6-7 Kg.m torque. Hold the piston rod by Allen key (A/F: 6 mm) to stop piston rod rotation during tightening of nut. 10.Remove spring compression tool carefully. 11.Lock the dust cover with striker cap. EXPLODED VIEW
