The gears and the synchronizers are designed for the complete life of the transmission, therefore it is not forseen that these parts can be replaced in service workshops. In case these components fail during the operation for the transmission, it is necessary to replace the complete transmission. PARK LOCK VIII. The park lock is integrated inside the geartrain and is not accesible. The part does not require any service, and is not replaceable. With a mounting bracket (1) the parklock (2) is mounted on the inside of the transmission housing. The parklock, will be able to lock the secondary shaft, when the park pawl moves inside the park gear (3).
