GEARTRAIN VII. The geartrain exists out of an inner and outer primary shaft, and a secondary shaft. The inner primary shaft is connected through the clutch with the ring gear of the planetary gearset. The Outer primary shaft is connected to the planet carrier of the planetary gearset. By rotating the drum, the connected shift forks will move and actuate the synchronizers. This will result in the connection of specific gearpairs. Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) 22
