For pin details, refer schematic section below. Go to next step Rectify the wiring harness connections as per the circuit schematic. 3 Are there any pins damaged at EMS ECU Connector Replace the connector or wiring harness Go to Next Step 4 Are there any pins backed out from the EMS ECU Connector Rectify/Replace Connectors Go to Next Step 6 Check whether any of the EGR valve position sensor pins (A040, A079, and A078) are short-circuited to Battery / Ground. Rectify the wiring Harness Connections Go to Next Step. 7 Check whether the EGR valve is fouling with any other component Remove the fouling Go to next step 8 Check whether the EGR valve is physically damaged Call hot line for assistance Go to next step 9 Fault Persists. Call Hotline Repeat the above steps for reconfirmation DTC’s confirmation: After rectification, Test Drive the vehicle for 2 KM and ensure that no DTC’s are logged in ECM. Incase EGR valve is needed to be replaced, then open the Component Replacement Tab and execute below routines: “EGR high pressure offset reset and activation of the learning ($ 02 0F)” “EGR High Pressure DC Motor Test”
