Is there any rust/oxidization observed on Sensor Terminals. Clean the Rust or repair or replace Go to Step 2. 2. The frequency from "range 3" is detected. The received frequency must be between the two thresholds 22 KHz and 18 KHz on EMS pin no A029. If this condition is not satisfied. Establish continuity by rectifying harness connections as per the circuit schematic. Go to Step 3. 3. Are there any pins damaged at Actuator /EMS ECU Connector. Replace the connector or wiring Harness. Go to step 4. 4. Are there any pins backed out from the Actuator /EMS ECU Connector. Rectify/Replace Connectors. Go to Step 5. 5. Is actuator, Short circuited to Battery or open? Repair the harness as per the schematic. Go to Step 6. 6. Is sensor physically Damaged? Replace Sensor. Go to Step 7. 7. If fault still persists. then replace sensor and if fault still persists then call Hotline. Follow the above procedure again for Reconfirmation. DTC’s confirmation (checks before handing over vehicle to customer): 1. Check the errors at Ignition ON, engine running @ Idle & Fly-up with different vehicle speeds also. 2. If error present, then rectify the errors. 3. Confirm that there is no error logged in EMS before handing over vehicle to customer.
