The engine can be started only with vehicle’s original immobilizer ignition key, which has an electronic identification programmed code. Immobilizer unit is an add-on part on the ignition switch, fitted on the steering column. The engine can be started only with the vehicle’s original immobilizer ignition key. The electronic key communicates the identification code to ICU when the key is turned to the "Ignition ON" position. Preliminary Checks: Immobilizer Trouble Shooting:- Step Checks IF YES IF NO 1. Turn ignition ignition on with 2nd key, immo will auto learn the key Go to next step 2 Replace the immo with new good one DTC’s confirmation:- Number of key learn with immo =2 & vehicle will start both the keys.
