SRS / Airbag ECU – DTC Troubleshooting Guide Vers ion: 14.0 Da te: 14-February-2017 Prepared by:Airbag COC Review & Approved by:Sanjeev VM Page: 322 of 549 B0073-55:- Second Row Left Seatbelt Pre tensioner Deployment Control not configured Overview:- ISO Code B007355 Customer Symptom SRS Warning Lamp continuously ON in Instrument Cluster Fault Effects (On Vehicle) No Effect Lamp Status (If Any) SRS Warning Lamp continuously ON in Instrument Cluster Fault Detection Condition Second Row Left Seatbelt Pre tensioner Deployment Device is not configured in EOL, but physically present in the vehicle Normal Operating Condition Second Row Left Seatbelt Pre tensioner configuration & physical presence in the vehicle should be as per the VC. Probable Trouble Area Related wiring Harness, connector or terminals Second Row Left Seatbelt Pre tensioner Device System Configuration Airbag ECU Healing Condition 1. Correct System configuration should be written to Airbag ECU as per VC. 2. Second Row Left Seatbelt Pre tensioner physical presence should be as per VC. Component Details:- Second Row Left Seatbelt Pre tensioner Module: - It is located at the rear passenger door wheel arch inner panel. Airbag ECU: - It is fitted in the floor of central console in the car. The Airbag Electronic Control Unit (ECU) controls the deployment system to allow an appropriate igniting of the Airbags and belt pre-tensioners to restrain the Driver and passengers. Preliminary Checks:- 1. Check Battery Voltage (12 V & above) 2. Check for any faults in Airbag Warning Lamp indication in Instrument Cluster. 3. Ensure the proper locking of Airbag ECU wiring harness connectors in the vehicle by the locking sound. Trouble Shooting:-
