CONNECT THE DIAGNOSTIC TOOL AND CHECK FOR DTC’s IS DTC PRESENT? CLEAR DTC . TURN OFF & ON IGNITION & CHECK FOR DTC’s ( at le ast 2 to 3 times) IS DTC STILL PRESENT ? TURN OFF IGNTION. AND REPLACE PASSENG ER FIS SENSOR WITH A NEW ONE . YES NO NO YES NO TURN OFF & ON IGNITION . CLEAR DTC’s & CHECK FOR DTC’s IS DTC PRESENT? NO TURN ON IGNITION. CLEAR DTC’s & CHECK F OR DTC’s. STOP RE - CONNECT THE AIRBAG ECU , W/H & PASSENG ER FIS MODULE IN VEHICLE 1. TURN OFF IGNITION. 2. REPLACE THE AIRBAG ECU WITH A NEW ONE ENSURE CORRECT PART NUMBER ( AS PER VC) . YES IS DTC STILL PRESENT? YES START B 1 0 0 F 96 :: Frontal Impact Passenger S ensor component internal failure .
