SRS / Airbag ECU – DTC Troubleshooting Guide Vers ion: 14.0 Da te: 14-February-2017 Prepared by:Airbag COC Review & Approved by:Sanjeev VM Page: 137 of 549 DTC’s confirmation:- After rectification, ensure the following points us ing TML diagnostic tool before handing over to customer. a) Clear the DTC’s & make sure no DTC’s are present for Airbag system b) Check whether any new DTC’s are getting qualified for repeated cranking. c) Ensure the Airbag Warning Lamp Indication is continuously ON in Instrument Cluster for 4 seconds after Ignition ON d) Ensure the Airbag Warning Lamp Indication goes OFF after 4 seconds from Ignition ON. IS DTC PRESENT? CLEAR DTC . TURN OFF & ON IGNITION . IS DTC STI LL PRESENT ? CHECK WHETHER THE PASSENGER FIS SENSOR CONNECTED TOTHE WIRING HARNESS IS HAVING THE TML PART NUMBER 542754209910 IS PART NUMBER CORRECT ? REPLACE WITH THE CORRECT PASSENGE R FIS YES NO NO YES YES TURN OFF & ON IGNITION. CLEAR DTC & CHECK FOR DTC’s IS DTC PRESENT? NO CLEAR DTC’s. TURN OFF & ON IGNITION & CHECK FOR DTC’s STOP RE - CONNECT THE ECU, PASSENGER FIS & W/HMODULE IN THE VEHICLE YES REPLACE THE AIRBAG ECU WITH A NEW ONE NO NO YES IS DTC STILL PRESENT? START B 1 0 0 F 4 A :: Frontal Impact Passenger S ensor incorrect component installed . TURN ON IGNITION. CONNECT THE DIAGNOSTIC TOOL AND CHECK FOR DTC’s
